Job Summary

Bellman often the first and last person guest sees while staying at the Hotel, therefore the care and attention is crucial for success of the hotel as you convey an important message to guests about the commitment of services. To work closely with the Front Desk team, Management and other departments in providing defined service and miscellaneous needs

What will you be doing?

Greeting hotel patrons, often stand near or at hotel doors to welcome, greets and directing patrons to the Front Desk, restaurants or other areas of the Hotel

Be familiar with all hotel products services - Room, Banquet Hall, F&B Outlets and other facilities

Aware of daily hotel functions, groups and VIP arrivals or departures

Communicate and coordinate for any special guest requests with Superior and respective section involves

Escort all guests check in to their room. Rooming guest about hotel and room features, facilities and emergency procedures

Recognize regular or return guest, VIP's, Hotel Board Directors and others hotel colleagues or resources

Maintain presence in the Lobby when not delivery luggage to guest rooms or others

Maintain the cleanliness and guest items that been kept inside the luggage room

Ensure Lobby, porch area, hotel entrance, bell counter as well as departmental equipment are clean and presentable at all times

Luggage assistance - Perform Luggage delivery to and from guest rooms, store luggage for guests who have arrived at the hotel before check-in time and will hold luggage for those who have checked out. Any of luggage assistant to be properly tagging using the luggage tag

Transportation assistance - Assist guest in arranging any of transportation request.

Responsible and recording of wheelchair and umbrella loan.

To assist special need cares - for guest has physical disabilities, to assist transporting guest to his / her rooms or other areas of the hotel vicinity

Be able to provide local information regards to attractions, restaurants and activities

Make deliveries to guest rooms or departments - newspaper, message, fax, documents and parcel

Perform key concierge task and administrative functions as directed

Perform all other job related duties as assigned by Superior

To identify and report safety hazards to the superior and security

To attend daily briefing at time set and hotel's training

Adherence with Hotel Standard of Operating and Do and Don't

What are the criteria?

Must be working in rotation shifts

Fresh Graduates or with experience for the position

Writes well and able to converse in English and Bahasa

Ability to work long hours and under pressure

Calm, efficient and organized demeanor

Good personal presentation

Physically fit for carrying heavy bags etc in daily basis

Good customer service skill and coordination skills

Good interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Ability to work cohesively as a team

Willing to work in shifts, weekends and holidays
