Job duties - Work within our team of Human Resources (HR) experts and leaders, particularly the Director of HR, by informing on the development, and driving the execution, of our talent assessments, analytics, and processes, such as employee talent development programs and onboarding assessment and training. Develop different interview techniques to assess skillsets of employees for hiring or promotion purposes, conduct individual assessments for hiring, placement, or promotion, evaluate current business needs for a specific role or an open requirement, estimate training needs, and explore new sources of hiring in order to enable data-driven decisions across the entire employee life cycle. Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to perform research and analyses on internal and external workforce Key Performance indicators (KPIs) and trends (e.g. employee turnover rates, sales per employee ratios, percent of profits, average number of absenteeism days per employee, recruitment costs, average number of training hours per employee, employee productivity rate, employee engagement index, training effectiveness, and percentage of under-performers). Provide insights to drive decisions and actions on training and development needs, employee performance assessments, and job requirements, all of which enable the company to achieve its business outcomes and fulfill our mission. Estimate cost and benefit of undertaking talent and HR-related actions. Communicate, collaborate, coordinate and integrate efficiently and effectively on multiple objectives and priorities, including: the effectiveness of learning and development programs; impact of HR programs and processes (e.g. onboarding and manager training, new hire and attrition rates); and success rate of implementing performance management initiatives company-wide. Keep all Smartling stakeholders (HR Director and C-level leaders) apprised of developments, progress and other key HR-related information, such as budget allocation plans, future talent acquisition programs, and HR metrics and data, with the highest confidentiality. Report to the HR Director and company leadership overall on the HR budget and investment, by providing budget recommendations related to talent branding, addressing diversity hiring practices, and expanding job advertising boards. Analyze recruiting and performance data to identify talent metrics, including talent turnover rates, recruiting high potential talent, cost and time to hire, training spending needs, performance improvement methods for new hires, diversity hiring initiatives, and number of applications submitted per each employee, to measure organizational needs and develop methods to address these needs. Identify measures and indicators gathered from HR and recruiting software used by managers and team leads to track their activity in the recruiting process, and analyze the data to understand bottlenecks and suggest actions needed to improve or correct their recruiting-related performance. Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or closely-related.

Background - Background preparing and presenting research results. Background managing and analyzing multiple datasets, summarizing data into metrics, and conducting statistical analyses (e.g. correlations, regressions, factor analyses, t-tests). Writing executive-level summaries of research findings and implications for business decisions. Background creating reporting formats to communicate results. Knowledge of organizational and managerial behavior to understand individual and group performance within an organization. Vlookup and Pivot tables to identify and analyze key trends.
