The New PA will work directly with a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position consists of three plus days in the clinic and the balance in the OR. Cases include a strong volume of the spine, such as traumatic spine injuries, congenital spine deformities and structural ‘wear and tear’ utilizing the latest minimally invasive techniques and some general ortho cases. This PA will run their own orthopaedic clinic. Responsibilities include: pre and post-operative H&P’s, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. They are located in a state-of-the-art facility that has EMR, Digital X-Ray and onsite PT/OT. There is no call and no weekends. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and have direct orthopaedic experience. The location is in NJ (20 minutes to Manhattan) which offers easy access to culture, arts, great restaurants and universities! Base salary is open, plus a based bonus plan. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
