Traditional Media Director- Direct Hire, On-Site, West Palm Beach, FL

The Media Director will be responsible for directing, planning & Implementing traditional media campaigns. This is a highly visible senior management role, reporting directly to Executive Leadership and responsible for providing full spectrum Media department oversight and the leadership necessary to empower team success. Qualified applicants will bring an established book of business and extensive Ad Agency experience leading Traditional Media Teams (buyers, coordinators and market managers) in a fast-paced, competitive Agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees evaluations of all traditional media negotiations

Reviews all buys and scheduling in advance of final submission

Analyzes cost efficiencies and ensure established CPP/CPM goals are met/exceeded

Manages annual media budget, allocates budget, oversees the negotiation of contracts, explores pricing and service alternatives, develops cost calculations and budget forecasting

Manages research, development and implementation of world-class data-driven media plans in accordance with client directives.

Determines media objectives, media plan budget, flight schedules, identify target audience reach and frequency goals.

Oversee competitive analysis, estimated budget, media selection, and timing of media delivery.

Manages all Media Contracts, ensures adherence to spots guidelines

Skill & Experience Requirements:

4Y College Degree, Advertising, Marketing or analytical discipline - MBA Preferred

8+ years’ experience in a traditional media leadership role, coaching, and directing others in an Agency environment

10+ years of experience with media strategy, planning & buying fields preferred

Experience in all forms of traditional and emerging media, TV, Cable, Print, Transit, terrestrial and digital radio

Clear cut ability to plan comprehensive, strategic media plans including financial, and target audience KPIs.

Extensive experience evaluating media campaigns

Advanced proficiency in industry ratings data, media buying software, and other research platforms- (SpotData, Strata, Kantar, Nielsen)

Deep qualitative and quantitative research and the ability to synthesize and analyze data in order to draw conclusions and identify trends.

Outstanding presentation skills to effectively communicate and update status with all levels of management.
