Our client, a small town office located outside of Keene NH is looking for a part-time Office Assistant. This temp-to-hire position is offering the right candidate $13-$16/hour depending on experience. The schedule includes one evening meeting every Monday from 5pm until the meeting is done and then office hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 2pm for a total of about 16 hours per week.

Office Assistant Responsibilities:

Prepare board meeting agendas

Take and distribute meeting minutes

Answer and direct calls

Assist residents with questions

Manage incoming and outgoing mail

Reply to e-mails

Print, copy, scan and file or send out documents

Record and manage purchase orders

Schedule Appointments as needed

Office Assistant Qualifications:

2+ years professional office experience

Solid computer skills - MS Office and Excel

Able to work independently and adapt to change

Professional written and verbal communication

Pleasant customer service personality

Experience in a municipal government or finance is a plus

Able to be flexible with schedule as needed
