Job Description

This position maps to our Engineering classification and agencies. This position is intended for roles requiring technical experience such as engineering or construction.

Gathers, analyzes, translates and delivers information in clear, concise and meaningful formats based on the specific project and/or program requirements.

In this role you will provide support for overall compliance/project management of Substation/Transmission projects. This is a technical position however a degree in engineering is not required. You will share Transmission data with internal and external entities including utilities, counties, and state agencies while maintaining compliance with corporate policies regarding Non-Disclosure Agreements and Mutual Confidentiality Agreements, interacting with the Transmission Business Relations and the Legal departments as necessary.

As a member of the Data and Records Management team, you will work with all regional Substation/Transmission departments to ensure time-sensitive activities are completed and up to date, providing continuity across all regions.

You will respond in a professional manner to all inquiries through verbal and written communications and follow up as appropriate. You will proactively communicate with the Data & Records Management Supervisor to manage your workload.

Primary responsibilities include:

Monitoring compliance of required project documents, noting discrepancies, researching and reviewing with engineering personnel and consultants to determine the appropriate action.

Responsible for creating, deleting, and managing a multitude of asset, project, equipment, & miscellaneous Project folders and folder structures within the ProjectWise Database. Managing Project folder and folder metadata properties. These keep the database working efficiently as well as making it easier for other users to locate data pertaining to their job task.

PLS-CADD Model Management – control the Check-in/out of model files and model validation at multiple stages of a project.

• Validation and Transfer of Relay settings files from SharePoint to ProjectWise.

Daily verification of CIP Compliance in ProjectWise

Through daily activities, identifying gaps or inefficiencies within existing policies and working with stakeholders and peers to develop business process improvements.

Reviewing non-technical aspects of drawing packages to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy of packages being transmitted. This encompasses, but is not limited to metadata around the file, basic appearance, signature verification, file location, and title block information.

Performing error tracking and substantive review of content under deadline pressure and ensuring content meets established CAD standards by reviewing the CAD standards compliance report.

Ensuring accurate documentation of Legacy Transmission files by scanning and electronically filing older paper files into appropriate locations within the ProjectWise file management system.

Creating and publishing regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports to be supplied to management to ensure project compliance.

Create/maintain Asset folder structures within ProjectWise.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary):
