As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for directing the acquisition, modification, improvement and installation of high-tech equipment within manufacturing facilities. Object is to maximize equipment and facility productivity.
You will develop an understanding of the equipment and manufacturing processes; develop capital project scope, budget and schedules; supervise mechanics, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades including contractors. Additional responsibilities will include offering sound technical and engineering advice for manufacturing, utilities, and facilities performance improvement; selecting vendors for equipment purchases; troubleshooting mechanical and electrical processes; direct installation and start-up of new equipment and processes; develop creative ideas to cut costs; supervise equipment design changes, installation of new equipment, and building projects; research process improvement and alteration requests and provide justification; negotiate and oversee contract work.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Five + years engineering experience.
• Successful engineers will be innovative, have good technical knowledge, and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
