Job Description:


• Experienced in large scale Production Support Server Environment Experience:• Strong Knowledge on troubleshooting skills on Windows server

• Strong Knowledge on server management tools

• Knowledge on Remote system administration

• Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems

• Monitoring of logs and alerts

• Performance Threshold management

• Disk Administration: Compact Partitions & Shares, Disk Quotas, DFS

• Administration of DNS, DHCP, WINS, Terminal Server, File & Print server & DFS Servers

• H/W troubleshooting & Vendor coordination

• Firmware & BIOS upgrade

• Understanding of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning.

• Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)

• Contribute to internal knowledge management system

• Provisioning & Decommissioning of Server

• Experience with VUM (VMware update manager)

• Excellent skills in managing VMware 5.X and above

• Hands-on-experience in managing HP Blades, VCEM, Virtual connect

• Experience with P2V migration, DRS, High availability etc.

• Handling Data Center Operations with Business & Mission Critical applications

• Resolving technical issues and analyzing the cause for critical issues.

• Executing changes as per defined process.

• Providing support to customer IT environment throughout.

• Technical Transition & Documentation skills

• Handle operations and manage Global team
