Summary: Provides customer service and technical support for company products.

POSITION DUTIES:

• Provides customer with telephone/email technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair company equipment

• Makes recommendations for repair, replacement or other corrective action

• Repairs equipment in-house

• Provides communication link between company and customer

• Installs new or modified equipment at customer site when necessary

• Provides instruction on proper use and maintenance of equipment to both internal and external customers

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree in electrical or mechanical discipline, plus 3-5 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Must be proficient in use of instruments used in troubleshooting of electronics equipment, DVM, Oscilloscope, etc. and reading schematic diagrams

• Must be proficient in use of PC (Windows, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint), and SAP systems

• Basic computer hardware knowledge helpful

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Must be able to travel up to 20%; sometimes internationally
