Position : Manufacturing Technician I

Location : San Diego, CA

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Total Hours/week :40.00

1st shift


• The Manufacturing Technician I is expected to work independently, perform laboratory functions involved in Lab Support group.

• The person must have a demonstrated ability following standard operating procedures and work instructions.

• The person directly reports to the immediate supervisor, assists him/her with the day to day laboratory operations.

• The Technician I is expected to be capable to perform goods movement through required databases, and archive quality documents.

• The person is responsible for the manufacturing of buffers in the Lab Support group.

• This includes following batch records, SOP, or working instructions to make in-house buffers and/or orders in SAP system while complying with ISO standards.

• Additional duties include maintaining lab inventory, accurate data entry, and reviewing / scanning of batch records.

• The position is expected to be familiar with quality system & safety procedures, and have basic knowledge of computer software.

• The position is expected to finish assignments on time and ensure team productivity is met.

• Demonstrated ability to use laboratory instruments and applicable computer software.

• Knowledge of general laboratory safety.

• Good attendance and solid work ethic.

• Effective interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication.

• Demonstrated ability to follow established policies Standard Operating Procedures and working instructions, and work with minimal supervision after training.

• Require math skills to perform basic calculations.

• Demonstrated ability to keep neat, accurate, and complete records and logs.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds weight. Physical Requirements:

• General physical requirements: Sedentary work

• Visual acuity requirements: Inspection / Administrative.

• Motion and sensory requirements: Talking, hearing and walking.
