Job Overview:

Logistics Team Lead will assist in the overall supply chain planning and warehouse management. Also, schedule the logistics/movement of goods and parts from and to locations timely and cost-efficiently, organize and monitor the storage and distribution of such goods in iConn directly and indirectly-controlled warehouses.

Logistics Team Lead will support the business in all customer related logistics aspects. The goal is to assist in managing the entire order cycle to enhance profitability, business development and ensure scalability, sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation timely and cost-efficiently

Direct, optimize and coordinate full goods delivery cycle for inbound and outbound shipments

Liaise and negotiate with shippers and customer's logistics personnel for best shipment terms.

Keep track of shipments to and from facilities, quality, quantity, stock levels, label requirements, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

Understand customers shipping guide and establish the customer specific executable shipping terms within iConn shipping department

Arrange warehouse, catalog goods and apply First-In, First-Out (FiFo) principles, report obsolete inventories

Apply country-specific Harmonization Codes, interact, renew and maintain relationships with the appointed iConn customs brokerage house. Comply with laws, regulations and customs declarations requirements

Resolve any problems related to damages caused during shipments to packaging and goods. Report these with pictures and description to iConn China or to purchasing personnel or the freight company. Engage in protecting iConn interest or recovery of costs

Follow safety in accordance with iConn handbook and state laws

Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvement regarding shippers and warehouse personal

Collaborate and process incoming Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA's)

Plan and consolidate container costs and schedules with time and cost-efficiencies with adequate buffer to meet customer/supplier in-house dates

Monitor external and in-transit inventories including for goods purchase, goods to be sold and consignment goods

Monitor Vendor Management Information (VMI) programs for cost and time efficiency. Support customers changing pull and push out requirements within the agreed terms. Report customer requests that are outside the negotiated terms. Continue to execute per managements agreed adjustments and exceptions to existing terms.

Provide the business with shipping cost estimates and variations as requested.

Reconcile monthly shipping costs (Sea and Air freight, FedEx, DHL, UPS, China activated freight and related costs) vs. actual shipments and reconcile with Accounting

Liaison with iConn China Shipping and Planning personnel to establish, operate and consistently maintain a Master Delivery Schedule on all goods in transit, and NetSuite Dashboard.

Monitor all new Purchase Order (PO) and schedule ETD / ETA daily

Update and control all open Sales Order (SO) confirmation ETD / ETA daily

Review any customer and suppliers Pull in / Push out requests, communicate to the respective channels within iConn

Support real-time invoicing.

Obtain from Customer Service Team Members any information that are affecting the execution of SO’s

Report to your direct superior the monthly open order booking

Review shipment schedule and reconcile with customer service on any open items that require shipment authorization

Follow with forward for container forwarder for Forwarders Certificate of Receipt (FCR) and House Airway Bill (HAWB)

Follow up with China for Proof of Delivery (POD) / shipment / tracking / PO confirmation

Qualifications:

2 to 5 years experience in logistics/warehouse operations

AA in Business Administration or experienced in related field, required

BS in Business Administration or experienced in related field, preferred

CLTD, CPIM, or CSCP Certified preferred, but not required

Knowledgeable of OSHA Safety Regulations

Forklift Certified, preferred

Mathematical skills

Experienced with ERP Systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Officewise, or other Accounting/SO/PO/Inventory Systems). NetSuite experience is a plus.

Effective written and verbal communication skills with diverse group of associates, customers, and senior business leaders

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail

Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in Warehouse/Logistics

Fluent in English

Bilingual with additional language skills such as Spanish or Mandarin, but not required.

This position reports to the Director of Operations.
