IT Applications Manager

(1) Acting as an Information Technology (IT) Applications Leader with specific focus narrowly on IT enterprise business applications and systems;

(2) Owning the corporate IT enterprise packaged and homegrown applications and systems from a current state and with regards to future state;

(3) Analyzing existing IT applications process, policies, programs, procedures, methodologies, standards, and enhancing to derive greater value, benefit, and return for the IT applications team, IT department, stakeholder/end-user community, customers and customer experience, and corporate organization;

(4) Acting as the corporate ‘face and voice’ to the stakeholder/end-user community and customer base with regards to IT applications, business process and workflow, and the respective impact on the stakeholder/end-user and customer relationship;

(5) Ensuring that IT enterprise applications/solutions align with stakeholder/end-user and customer needs;

(6) Evaluating, selecting, implementing, and managing new application technology/solutions, process, vendors, and business partners to champion organizational and customer success and growth, increased revenue and financial profit, improve stakeholder/end-user and customer satisfaction, loyalty, and relationships, while more efficiently managing cost and expense;

(7) Managing the applications, automation, and solutions delivery process from requirements elicitation, feasibility, buy vs build, planning, system and application design, solution development, testing, documentation, implementation, training, and support;

(8) Owning and leading all corporate IT enterprise application/solutions resources, internal and external staff, business process/workflow, project management lifecycle and solutions delivery methodology;

(9) Assisting IT leadership with strategy, tactical initiatives, and relationship building with stakeholders/end-users, customers, vendors, and business partners;

(10) Leading the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) process while navigating the selection process;

(11) Designing, developing, and managing application/solutions delivery plans and budgets (operational and project/solutions delivery) and assisting IT leadership with project/solutions delivery planning, estimating, cost/budget management.


MUST have 10+ years of STRONG/CURRENT scope in directly managing enterprise IT applications/solutions in a medium sized IT organization (10-50 IT professionals) of a medium sized manufacturing company with 10+ years of STRONG/CURRENT/RECENT expertise in the MANUFACTURING industry as an IT Applications Manager/Leader.

MUST have STRONG/CURRENT/RECENT skill and experience with managing IT MANUFACTURING APPLICATIONS and MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS DELIVERY through a small staff of analysts/developers including: ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, and Cloud (SaaS) based applications/solutions delivery.
