We are recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst, US Citizen who holds and DoD Active/Current Secret SSBI or Top Secret Clearance

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The successful candidate will participate in a team environment supporting a U.S. Government contract that provides personnel security management to DoD.

• The position involves extensive work in a Linux environment and development of SQL queries for use with Ad Hoc Reporting and/or analysis and correction of data in an Oracle database.

• The candidate will need strong analytical skills, strong communication skills, and extensive experience working with Oracle database

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involved in the development of complex SQL queries and scripts for use in Ad Hoc Reports, analysis of data quality, and data manipulation within an Oracle database. Strong data analytical skills and experience with the ability to communicate is necessary.

• Solid working knowledge of Linux commands and development and execution of shell scripts, database stored procedures, SQL, PL/SQL and work with relational databases.

• Must be able to work in a team environment and independently with minimum management oversight. Must be extremely attentive to detail as the successful candidate will be reporting on and modifying production data for the customer.

• Must possess high energy and strong motivation to make a difference.

• Fast paced environment with changing priorities. Switching tasks without loss of productivity is a must

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Strong familiarity with Linux, Shell scripting, and Perl

• Data analysis experience – 3 to 5 years is preferred

• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience - 3 to 5 years is preferred

• Oracle Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) experience - 3 to 5 years preferred

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Oracle SQL Developer and Oracle SQL*Plus.

• Experience with MS SQL Server and MS SQL Server Management Studio.

• Common MS Office software skills (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint) and MS SharePoint navigation and document versioning

• Experience with legacy data and document migration processes

• Understanding of application development lifecycle processes is a plus
