We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our MITstem International School based in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam. We require administration skills on planning, organising, administration and communication with clients and students. As part of a dynamic team, you have to work together with other heads of department to understand the strategy and moving towards the desired goals. This is a unique opportunity for the Digital Marketing Manager with experience on online marketing and who is looking for a career in digital channel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns to achieve set sales and marketing goals

• Design, build and maintain our social media presence to drive online traffic to the company website and FB page and constantly improve and update our website and FB Contents with the latest up-to-date information

• Plan and set marketing budget for all digital marketing campaigns

• Take the lead on internal and external video production for digital usage

• Integrate between traditional and digital marketing platforms to achieve overall marketing objectives

• Monitor regularly competitors’ social media and ground activities and suggest appropriate counter actions

• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests

• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience

• Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels

• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

• Participate and support all promotional activities organised to promote the Company products

Key skills

• Editing and writing skills: You need to devise and edit contents for various digital platforms. Writing blog posts may well be an integral part of the job.

• Speaking skills: This will mainly be deployed internally. You will need to be able to explain coherently to others, who may not be familiar with the media, how digital technologies work and what their marketing application is

• Video editing skills: Website and social media content will not just be text but frequently with visuals as well

• Web development skills: A digital marketing executive is not a software developer, but you will need sound knowledge of HTML/JavaScript, strong knowledge of search engine optimization and advanced Word and Powerpoint skills

• Project management skills: Digital marketing executives also need to be good at handling time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines

Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Marketing / Commerce / Advertising & Media / Mass Communication / Information Technology or a related field

• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in related field preferably gained in the Digital Marketing field

• Proven working experience in digital marketing

• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

• Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)

• Working knowledge of advertising serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)

• Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
