he Senior Consultant in the field of Automotive Connected Vehicle and Services will have a blend of skills including strong business acumen, expert knowledge and understanding of Automotive IOT and connected vehicle technologies, industry strategies and requirements surrounding connected vehicles, and technology trends.

Main responsibilities include:

Assure a robust connected vehicle program by supporting all Pre/Post launch and deployment activities.

Resolve all launch issues including customer issues by analyzing supporting data as well as collaborating and communicating the with cross functional engineering, IT and business teams, as well as SiriusXM via on-site visits including over the phone.

Develop and implement sustainable processes by creating and managing Change Requests (CR) that aim at improving and enhancing end-to-end connected vehicle customer experience by resolving current and future issues efficiently and effectively.

Lead all support efforts and provide requirements for all activities relevant to Connected Vehicle Operations as well as source packages for Connected Vehicle Service Delivery Platform that will host multiple short term to long term strategic initiatives.

Manage and maintain close working relationships with extended teams within the corporation as well as SiriusXM.

Innovation EE Decoupled Project Development Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for Advanced Innovation Connected Vehicle Features, Applications, Components and Service Delivery Platform (SDP) development. Develop project Statement of Work (SOW) with preliminary requirements, project deliverables, KPIs and project timing. Issue Purchase Order requests, manage supplier(s) development and provide tech gate deliverables, including specifications and proof of concept (POC) property to Production team. Coordinate decoupled project development with regional & outside departments.

Required Qualifications

BSME, BSEE or Computer Science from an ABET accredited university

Highly capable in Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite

Clear, concise, precise communication skills both oral and written

Minimum 6 years automotive electronics experience

Minimum 3 years connected vehicle / telematics and Infotainment technology

Minimum 1 year experience in Service Delivery Platform, PKI Architectures and Cyber Security

Working knowledge or automotive electrical architectures and communication busses (LIN, CAN and Ethernet)

Ability to lead colleagues from engineering and suppliers to achieve project goals

Preferred Qualifications

- Utilized SDKs to implement production apps in Android, iPhone & Blackberry environment

- Detailed knowledge of embedded systems, wireless communications and protocols, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CDMA, GSM, TCP/IP

- Working knowledge of internet security and architecture best practices for service delivery platforms, both machine-to-machine, server-to-server, and server-to-vehicle interfaces

- Working knowledge in communication security, network security, cryptography, PKI, certificate authority, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, risk assessment, authentication, encryption, digital signature, SSL/TLS, AES, RSA, SHA
