Hours of Operation: ~40 hrs/week

Salary: $20-$22/hr

Our client is looking to hire an RPhT for their retail pharmacy in Mississauga, Ontario. It is important for the candidate to have a welcoming personality and can communicate effectively in English, Hindi and Gujrati. In addition to being proficient in Kroll, the RPhT would be expected to handle at least 100rx/day with the team. Our client welcomes newly licensed RPhTs who are eager to learn and develop themselves within the pharmacy and grow within.

-Fill, check and release individual prescriptions, unit dose carts, ward stock and emergency supplies of medications using appropriate procedures for packaging, labeling, documentation and delivery.

-Check and approve final release of prescriptions.

-Check and approve release of oral solid and liquid medications.

-Monitor and replenish medication supplies.

-Ensure medication storage areas are clean and in good order.

-Follow up on unexpected returned doses.

-Maintain drug accountability records such as narcotic documentation, investigational and SAP drug records and all medication issues.


-Registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

-Strong keyboarding skills and experience with computer order entry.

-Excellent teamwork skills.

-Excellent communication skills.

-High accuracy and attention to detail.
