Our client, a large non-profit located in Bar Harbor, Maine, is seeking a strong, strategic Payroll Manager to lead, mentor and train its’ payroll department.

Responsible for all aspects of the payroll cycle including daily management of payroll administration, all reporting, and oversight of adherence to all federal, multiple state, local regulations and OMB/Uniform guidance requirements. Serve as the expert in payroll and benefit related tax requirements.

Must have experience in multi-state payroll management in the non-profit industry including experience with OMB/Uniform Guidance requirements. Must have experience with in-house payroll and accounting software and third-party payroll services including leading implementations, upgrades and conversions. Some travel is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of seven years related industry experience is required
