Position Summary: Assist Front Office management in supervising daily activities in the Front Office, including Front Desk, Concierge, Bellstand, Valet and Service Express. Help to ensure optimal guest experience and smooth operation of the Front Office operation.

Thorough knowledge of the hotel property and able to guide guests and answer questions.

Provides hands-on support during busy arrival/departure periods and group movements.

Help with security by ensuring cashier reports balance, banks and deposits are verified, and key control is monitored.

Preventing problems and handling stressful situations in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and resort profitability.

Assist in interviewing, selection, training, and counseling of front office team members, ensuring hospitality standards are maintained.

Implementing systems and communication between Front Office and Housekeeping in order to manage Rooms inventory, status, etc.

Maintain and control all room blocks, pre-registration, and pre-assignment of rooms.

Ensure the accuracy and completion of all folios, room changes, credit approvals, etc.



Education: High school diploma or GED plus 2 years’ administrative hotel front desk experience or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the above skills, knowledge, and ability.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ hotel/resort experience at the front desk is preferred or other hospitality guest service experience.

● Supervisory experience is preferred.

● Ability to verbally communicate with guests and fellow team members in English. A second language skill is helpful.

● Able to handle cash or credit card transactions.

● Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Outlook applications. General office equipment and cash register operation knowledge are expected.

● Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

● Able to push, pull, carry, bending, stooping and upward reaching motions.

● Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
