Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech) assists the physician during invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Cardiovascular Technologist primarily specializes in the monitoring of physiologic data received during cardiac catheterization. They are may also assist as a scrub assistant and provide support for radiologic procedures. The CV Tech performs as a functionally independent member of a high performance work team. The Cardiovascular technologist is responsible for taking call. When on call, once called, there will be a 30 minute reporting time required.

Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology program. 2-3 years experience preferred. Pediatric experience desired. RCIS eligible preferred. BLS required.
