Iris's client, a large insurance company, is currently searching for a strong for a Devops Engineer based in Woodbridge, NJ to join their team.

DevOps Infrastructure Engineer


• Support of Jenkins/DevOps infrastructure within ISG division of Prudential. Responsible for automation, onboarding and ongoing support of applications in the Jenkins/DevOps Infrastructure.

• CI/CD - Configuration Management (Infrastructure as Code), Release Engineering

• Assist in the standardization of our configurations to “infrastructure as code” using Jenkinsfile.

• Support Jenkins infrastructure to help the division to grow with the new/current technologies.

• This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently and in teams within a rapidly evolving technical environment. The ideal candidate will be someone with a hybrid developer/system administration background who is comfortable in a Linux environment.

Expertise and Experience:

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience working in a DevOps environment.

• Scripting language: Groovy, PS, Python, Ruby, Shell, or PowerShell (At least 1)

• Devops Tools: BitBucket, Jenkins Admin, Jenkins File(IaC), Octopus, Selenium, Subversion/SVN, Rundeck, Sonar, Zookeeper, Artifactory, Open Blue Ocean. (Removed Onsight – that is where I would like them to be - here)

• Architected solution: Amazon AWS, Google GCP, Kubernetes and micro-services in general.

• DevOps Best Practices: In CI/CD, environment automation, release automation, virtualization, infrastructure as a code (JenkinsFile), metrics tracking, Agile methodologies on an Agile-DevOps platform

• Communication & Documentation: Ability to articulate and influence. Gap analysis & Solution recommendations.

• Work with the Strategic DevOps team to define CI/CD best practices and guide the deployment with a practical set of pipelines.

• Help the team mature our automated deployment and container utilization strategies

• Be a change agent for “infrastructure as a code” for the CI/CD transition and growth.
