Our company, Group Solar is looking for proactive, ambitious and self-driven individuals who are forward thinkers that want leadership roles!

As a Solar Sales Rep, you will become an expert in solar energy and energy efficient products. You will educate families on the benefits of renewable energy and help them save money. You’ll develop your outside business expertise, close contracts and interact with decision-makers on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in residential solar (training provided).

• Set up and lead in-home consultations with prospective customers.

• Drive the creation of leads to meet sales goals.

• Maintain relationships with customers from consultation all the way through installation.

• Generate new business by referrals. (We generate around 20 qualified leads a week!)

• Participate as needed in table events and expos.

• Provide Group Solar leadership with regular reports on sales efforts.

Desired Qualifications

• College degree preferred, but not required (minimum h.s. diploma or equivalent).

• Must be able to solicit, negotiate, sell and draft construction contract.

• In-home and/or solar sales experience preferred.

• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.

• Excellent business sense, problem solving, and analytical skills.

• Ability to explain complex topics simply and persuasively.

• Excited to work hard with possibility of significant financial reward.

• Ability to travel throughout the NY area; valid driver’s license.

• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Benefits

• Target compensation of $500 a week plus commission.
