Intern Human Resources - Co-op

Are you currently enrolled in a Human Resource Management course and looking for a co-op internship?

We are currently looking a Human Resources Intern to join our Recruitment Team in January 2019. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in sourcing candidates, scheduling appointments, conducting interviews, performing resume updates, and other duties as required by the recruitment team.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program requiring a co-op placement

• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Exemplary communication and customer service skills

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment


• Carry out Recruitment Support Services tasks, inclusive of Reference/Background Checking services, posting jobs, customer satisfaction surveys, and data entry);

• Submitting resumes to the Recruitment Specialists and Account Managers.

• Utilizing multiple electronic databases to identify suitable candidates according to job specifications.

• Capturing and maintaining accurate documentation for all candidates and recruiting activities.

• Other duties to assist with the HR Team as required.

This is an unpaid internship open to those currently enrolled in an HR post-secondary program requiring a co-op placement.
