Services to be performed:

• Review and assess background checks.

• Conduct online research to assist with decision making.

• Correspond with vendor, business and candidate regarding the status of a candidate's background check.

• Keep candidate file up-to-date throughout the life cycle of a candidate's background check within our internal database.

Position Overview:

• This individual will be responsible for pre-employment background checks for anyone that drives or delivers on behalf of company.

• These adjudicators will sit in Seattle to make hiring decisions based on driving records, background checks, and job duties.

• Day to day will consist of reviewing candidate background check reports, finding court documents, and reaching out to candidate directly to get statement or court documents (All communication is through email)

• Individual will be required to research online and consult team with ambiguous cases.

• Two new programs launching in mid December that will bring a very high volume of background checks. Additional special projects may need assistance.

• Mon-Fri, 8-5, possibility for overtime.

• A lot of collaboration, as some of the backgrounds reviewed can be ambiguous. Open work environment.

Required Skills:

• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

• Basic to intermediate MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) skills.

• Effective written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Sound judgement.

• Able to handle a high volume of work in a fast pace environment.

• Any level of HR experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Entry level HR or recruiting experience.

• Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

• Able to gather and analyze information skillfully.

• Basic knowledge of US court systems and terminology.
