Admissions Coordinator – Stockton, CA area

We have a new employment opportunity for an Admissions Coordinator in a busy long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC / SNF) near Stockton, California. Responsibilities include marketing the facility, enhancing community relations, meeting with discharge planners, and completing admissions paperwork in a skilled nursing environment.

We prefer candidates with prior experience as Admissions Coordinator, Marketing Director, or Nurse Liaison in a Nursing Home setting. The ideal candidate is an Admissions Director with experience in skilled nursing care and knowledge of Medicare and Managed Care admissions processes.

Duties include building professional relationships with local hospital discharge planners as and increasing census. A demonstrated track record for building health care census and developing referral sources within Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facilities, or LTAC is preferred.

Admissions Coordinator requirements:

• Health care marketing / census building experience in LTC

• Knowledge of health care regulations, eligibility, and reimbursement required

• Track record of improving Nursing Home market share & profitability
