The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for cultivating new client relationships while furthering existing accounts for our Mobius Perpetual Demand marketing platform. The BDR will introduce Advantage’s capabilities and services to key decision-makers during the onset of an initial sales activity obtaining buy-in and interest. The BDR will collaborate with our highly competent sales team to assist in the onset and planning of product delivery and overall client satisfaction consistently setting up new business avenues for sales teams to take over.

Responsibilities

Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customers/prospect contact towards achieving sales targets

Develop a pipeline of prospects through social media, business networking events, cold calls, emails, etc.

Profile strategic accounts to identify key individuals and initiate business development activities

Prioritize strategic target account lists for assigned Outside Sales territories

Research and build new and existing accounts in our CRM system

Qualify and allocate leads for assigned Outside sales team members

Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects

Set appointments when a lead reaches a qualified stage, involving Outside Sales as needed

Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information

Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities

Track and report on the status of all proposal components.

Works between sales and marketing doing the heavy lifting to drive sales

Educational Level

2 year degree preferred

Experience and Skills

At least one year of experience in industry business development and/or in a sales role

Tenacious self-starter with demonstrated ability to achieve goals

High energy experience

Experience creating relationships with target decision makers via phone, email and LinkedIn.

A self-starter with excellent time-management skills

Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills

Proven capability to prospect and schedule net new meetings

Strong time management and organization skills for multi-tasking

Professional appearance and demeanor

Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills; experience delivering compelling presentations to an audience
