Classroom Specialist - Inside Sales

Austin, Texas, United States
November 13, 2018

Higher education is struggling to provide students with the tools and skills that they need to succeed. Over the past few decades, we’ve seen technology touch every aspect of our daily lives and yet today’s students sit and passively listen to their professors lecture exactly like did in the middle ages.

101 is transforming the college STEM lecture hall with a next-generation active learning platform and we are seeking a Classroom Specialist to help grow our reach in colleges and universities across the country.

Chem101, our first product for chemistry, has quickly grown to over 150 colleges and universities in the last year. The platform enables college instructors to engage their students during lecture by pushing digital problem-solving exercises to student personal devices. Our unique approach focuses on elegant, discipline-specific interactive assessment tools, such as molecular structure drawing, that triumph over traditional worksheets and generic multiple choice tools like clickers.

We are a team of entrepreneurial scientists, engineers, and educators who are redefining the way students learn and interact with their subject-matter. We’re backed by some of the biggest names in the business including Birchmere Ventures, University Ventures, Dreamit, Rough Draft Ventures, Dorm Room Fund, and a number of leaders from the publishing industry. We’ve taken home prizes at business competitions across the country, voted Inc. Magazine’s Coolest College Startup of 2017, and have been featured on CNBC.

As a Classroom Specialist, you will be a member of our sales team located in Austin, TX and will be responsible for generating instructor interest and adoption of 101's platform at college and universities across the nation. Come join us and change the college lecture experience forever!
