Wilson Employment is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer for an industry leading manufacturer in the greater Concord, NH area. This is a great direct hire opportunity to work for a well established global organization!

Process Engineer Responsibilities:

The Process Engineer provides support to production areas for wire & ribbon manufacturing, leads projects for product and process improvements, troubleshoots equipment and tooling, and assesses the suitability of materials for new samples and current production.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:

Works to develop new and/or improve existing products and processes.

Designs, runs, and evaluates experiments on systems and processes.

Analyzes manufacturing processes and workflow for continuous improvement opportunities.

Assess processes, takes measurements and interprets data and risks.

Applies sound and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Requires the use of advanced techniques and modifications, extension of theories, precepts, and practices.

Standardizes manufacturing process by implementing DOE, CAPAS, Cpk, SPC principles.

Develops and maintain SOP’s applicable to process requirements.

Applies statistical quality control techniques, suggests & implements performance measurements (KPI’s).

Develops and maintain a project list and activity log while working to improve and support daily production requirements.

Develops action plans to improve performance and recommends corrective action.

Provides manufacturing personnel with technical guidance.

Serves as a technical contact to our Sales Department and customer base.

Support facility efforts in continuous quality improvement programs.

Occasional travel within North America. Infrequent travel internationally.

Process Engineer requirements:

B.S. in Engineering or closely related technical discipline.

3-5 years worth of Process/Manufacturing Engineering experience

Computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).

Experience with developing and optimizing existing & new manufacturing processes.

Knowledgeable in statistical process control & analysis techniques.

An understanding of electrical properties and signal transmission in wires and ribbons.

Ability to apply project management skills.

Professional and positive communication skills (written and verbal).

Analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Experience in the wire industry is preferred by not required.

Knowledge of manufacturing and environmental standards (IATF16949, ISO14001…).

Project management experience preferred.

Prior experience in the wire industry is preferred but not required.

Exposure to medical device manufacturing is a plus.
