Fulfillment Manager (Food Processing) – Warren, OH

Major consumer foods processor and packager is looking for a talented and dedicated Maintenance Manager to join the Plant leadership team. We need you to bring your effective leadership and strong knowledge of production, order fulfillment and inventory control as we continue to grow as a leader in the industry.

Job Description:

•Execute daily operations, ensuring delays and issues are reduced or eliminated.

•Drive productivity improvements through consistent kaizens (Lean initiatives).

•Communicate goals and objectives to the team, ensuring alignment of the team to company goals.

•Direct standard work adherence and development throughout the fulfillment team through daily audits.

•Develop and implement work schedules assure effective and efficient operations.

•Coordinate with inventory team and purchasing to ensure all materials needs are met, eliminating line slowdowns related to materials.

•Partner with the Food Safety team to ensure we are meeting FDA, USDA and GMP General Manufacturing

Practice requirements.

•Lead fulfillment team quality improvement efforts.

•Support all Safety Team efforts to continuously improve practices and facilities.

•Conduct performance appraisals. Provides measurable feedback to assigned personnel and suggestions for improved performance. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.

•Other projects / duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

•High School diploma or equivalent required

•5+ years of fulfillment or production leadership experience within the food or beverage industry

•Lean manufacturing certification or experience leading in a company practicing Lean

•Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus

•Strong analytical skills.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt and implement change in a timely and effective manner.

•Organized and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills

•Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
