Title: Program Director

Department: COS Parenting Coach

Position Summary:

Responsible for the oversight of the day to day operation of the Circle of Security Parent Coaching Department by providing supervision of staff, detailed management and oversight of the program budget, maintaining fluid communication and providing ongoing reporting to DOHMH, as well as maintaining relationships with community organizations, key partner agencies and other services providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Ensure services are implemented in accordance with scope.

•Achieve program operational objectives by overseeing program activities on a micro and macro level.

•Supervise all program staff.

•Schedule and facilitate weekly team meetings to facilitate communication, adherence to program model, strategies, present current and future efforts regarding enrollment and retention.

•Work closely with agency QI Specialist to assess coach fidelity to the COS PS model;

•Prepare program reports that are accurate and according to quality standards.

•Monitor and approve payroll for each staff member.

•Manage staff schedules including reassigning classes to accommodate vacation/time off schedules

•Provide performance appraisals and goals for each staff member.

•Schedule staff training and monitor that all necessary training's required by the agency are fulfilled by staff members

•Identify professional development opportunities for staff to foster their knowledge-base.

•Examine monthly budget reports to ensure that all expenses are accounted for and the yearly budget is spent in accordance to contractual obligations.

Skills and Education:

•College Degree or experience that is commensurate with the responsibilities of the position

•Proven ability with administration and overall management of a multifaceted community program

•Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills

•Ability to manage different levels of staff and their concentric schedules and sites.

•Ability to multi task: manage micro and macro details at the same time.

•Must have had operational and administrative program experience, supervised staff, worked with parents and children, familiar with both clinical and organizational aspects of running a program which provides direct services to families in the community.
