Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:

A degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting

Experience working with engineering and manufacturing on development and analysis of cost standards

Detailed knowledge of US GAAP principles

Professional certification CFA, CPA or CMA is preferred.

Experience in Healthcare industry, particularly Medical Device is preferred.

Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint (G Suite experience a plus)

Candidate should possess the following:

Bias towards action, great sense of accuracy and perform well under pressure

Excellent communication, time management, business acumen, and technical accounting skills

Maturity in dealing with executive leadership. Able to influence seasoned business partners

Ability to listen, interpret, influence, negotiate, inspire and challenge are all vital to the role

Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment and build support across all levels of the organization

Comfortable working in ambiguous situations. Ability to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Naturally inquisitive with a desire to understand a broad range of issues, bringing these factors to life for leadership and explaining the relevant context

Strengths in project management and organization

Enhance the understanding of critical business drivers and maintain a good view of business unit strengths and weaknesses

Key Accountabilities:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide financial systems support for manufacturing process implementation (ERP, MRP, etc.)

Prepare, devise and regulate procedures for establishing standard costs

Maintain standard costs and update them as appropriate

Maintain and review the general ledger and reconcile balance sheet items

Conduct inventory reserve analysis and generate reports for senior management

Assist in development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions

Ad hoc projects as required
