Position Overview

• Participates in equipment installation, trial runs, investigative tests and repairs.

• Participates in training customers on Machinery equipment. Performs maintenance on the machines and maintains documents of all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work.

• Participates in responding to service calls.

• Participates in the assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements.

• Works with small to large size companies to create, improve or assess their current or potential projects.

General Responsibilities

● Troubleshoots electro-mechanical components or defect, determines corrective action and repairs. Performs preventative maintenance and diagnostics on the machines.

● Identifies additional chargeable opportunities including parts, time, system upgrades and service contract expansion.

● Provide timely and quality support for all equipment sold requiring field technical support for installation, testing, consulting repair, or maintenance.

● Completes and submits written timely and detailed service actions and reports covering all aspects of each assignment.

● Works with our other branch in Europe, our main supplier in Taiwan and other suppliers to arrange servicing and resolve problem.

● Participates in machine inspection (FAT) in Taiwan and site acceptance test (SAT) at the customer site.

● Conducts training for customers at their site and online how-to videos

● Delivers technical support, coaching and direction to end users and field labor when applicable.

● Performs demonstrations at our facility on our demo machine in front of customers

● Participates in domestic and international tradeshows

● Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization

● Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of industry, machinery and techniques

● Ensure high-quality customer service and ongoing technical skill development.

● Exceptional judgment, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Strong analytical mind.

Minimum Qualifications

● Associates or Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

● Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

● 2 to 5 years of work experience in a related field.

● Must have a valid driver’s license in good standings

● Valid US passport will be required for International traveling

● Fluent in English

● Excellent written and oral communication skills

● Must have proficient computer skills on Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)

● Ability to work on projects with general direction and minimal guidance

● Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

● Strong desire for continued growth and learning

● Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred knowledge, skills and experience

● Experience explaining technical issues and influencing product and process design change with results/data, working with other engineering teams to arrive at solutions.

● Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD.

● Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic and mechanical issues.

● Knowledge of a second language (Spanish or Chinese would be highly appreciated)
