Description:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for training, motivating and managing Maintenance Associates in their assigned area, in a safe and efficient manner, while ensuring the mechanical systems support the production of a quality product.

Responsibilities:

• Member of the plant Steering Team and Safety Committee.

• Supervises and coordinates activities of associates engaged in setting up, installing, repairing and

maintaining machinery and equipment.

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and trouble shoots to locate causes of trouble.

• Directs Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Technicians engaged in repairing and maintaining

parts of equipment and machines.

• Supervises the installation and maintenance of manufacturing machinery, dryers, chillers, compressors,

labelers, and palletizers.

• Coordinates activities of Maintenance Technicians engaged in installation of machinery and equipment.

• Directs associates in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair

of machinery and equipment based on observation of machinery and applying knowledge from past

experience.

• Directs Maintenance Technicians engaged in dismantling, assembling and installing manufacturing

machinery.

• Organize and assign preventative maintenance work orders and non-predictive maintenance tasks for

the production.

• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology or related field – Preferred – Not Mandatory

• 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Manager, or Project Engineer in a high-volume

manufacturing environment.

• PLC and automation controls troubleshooting, and programming preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail oriented.

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to motivate personnel.
