Boutique hotel in the heart of Miami Beach is currently hiring for Assistant Front Office Manager.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Check on all reservations for the day of arriving guests

Prepare registration cards ensuring that they are complete and information accurate ahead of guest arrival

Ensure that all monies received for booking have been received and are allocated correctly on the booking system for all guests arriving

Professional check in with guests ensuring that all relevant signatures and accompanying documentation is received

Ensure that all special requests listed on booking as well as requested while in house are carried out with the highest level of service and in line with company standards

Co-ordinate with all departments to ensure Front Office functions properly, and all guests requests are carried out in an organized and timely manner

Answer guests’ enquiries, handles complaints and attend to the needs of the guests

Handle guest complaints and other related problems and report in the Front Office Manager’s log/handover book

Oversee that all staff are in their correct uniforms and have the correct appearance, in line with company uniform and standards policy

Supervise the support Bellman/Valet team

Assist receptionists, reservation operators and Valet when they are busy

Check cleanliness of the Hotel Reception as well as public areas, including waiting area outside the reception and parking area

Report any maintenance issues discovered or reported in the rooms and ensure that these are timeously carried out

Ensure that the maintenance is in order in the reception and public areas

Perform other duties as required by management

Must have RoomMaster experience

Must have hospitality experience

Must have prior supervisor or assistant manager experience

Must be service oriented Must be willing to work flexible schedule
