Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr Manager, North America Order Administration for a very important client.

This is a senior management role focused on the development and management of the global sales and services order administration teams for the North America region. The regional responsibilities include bookings for the U.S., Canada, South and Central America and some Pacific Rim customers. Reporting into the Director of the Global Order Management, the regional senior manager will work cross functionally with numerous internal departments including Sales / Service, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Corporate Compliance, Global Logistics & Transportation, Business Unit Operations and North America Senior Management in the execution and achievement of Global Order Management programs and initiatives including regional bookings and revenue goals. This individual must be able to think strategically and execute tactically to ensure orders for sales and services are booked incompliance to corporate policies, financial and SOX guidelines, in addition to regional and local requirements.


The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications:

-Manage regional operations of Sales & Services Order Administration teams in North America.

-Ensure regional Order Administration practices are in alignment and executing to corporate finance and SOX guidelines, global bookings policy, corporate controllers manual and applicable local laws applicable to the North American booking portfolio.

-Analyze business needs, evaluates processes, identify opportunities, and lead projects and initiatives to promote Order Administration value.

-Manage the North America Demo Portfolio of systems and supporting transactions.

-Must be able to collaborate with multiple business units and functional teams to integrate/implement global business solutions to deliver end to end value in cost and service

-Establish operational objectives and strategies in support business objectives

-Regularly interact with senior management on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers

-Conduct quarterly business reviews internally and externally driving continuous improvement

-Establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.

-Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and achieve best practices in delivery of superior customer experience

-Mentor and develop regional OA managers/supervisors and staff

-Combination of order management, distribution operations and finance (revenue recognition) is desired

-10+ years in a managerial role with increasing levels of responsibility in a matrixed environment.

-Requires a BS/BA and MBA is a plus

-Proficient with international commerce and trade: INCO Terms, Import / Export Trade Compliance processes, 3rd party payment tools, VAT, and currency guidelines

-Working knowledge and experience with Import/Export trade compliance processes, policies and controls.

-Must have strong interpersonal skills and have demonstrated ability to communicate at the executive level (Experience interacting confidently at all levels of the organization

-Must be detail oriented, strong negotiation skills and an effective communicator

-10+ years’ experience in Order Management and Distribution operations.

-10+ years’ experience in Finance & SOX guidelines, and high level of revenue recognition proficiency

-10+ years’ experience operating in a Global role managing regionally dispersed teams.

-Proven leadership, negotiation and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work across the organization and drive necessary activities to resolve issues, drive initiatives and achieve results

-Strong project and change management experience

-Experience with Oracle and SFDC CRM desirable

-Willingness to travel required
