My client is seeking Director Of Sales with a minimum of 2-10+ years of experience in managing a team. They will be directing the business development activities of the organization with the capability to drive sales leads to further growth. Must be capable of developing business partnerships with various clients from small to large-sized accounts throughout the Eastern Massachusetts, from Worcester to Boston, to the New Hampshire border and down to the South Shore. Including counties: Worcester county, Middlesex county, Suffolk county, Norfolk county, Essex county and Plymouth county. Individual must be able to demonstrate excellent selling, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. This position requires travel within the geographic area above. This role is a Direct report to the CEO, on the top leadership team.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field, preferred but not required

• Must have a minimum of 2+ years in managing a team of Sales Professional, including building a team, mentoring, recruiting, and growing overall sales

• Along with previous experience, with a minimum 4 + years of professional experience in B2B sales of demonstrable consultative sales success with a consistent performance of overachievement in sales goals. Including prospecting, cold calling, analyzing, and closing new business.

• Industry experience in Uniforms, Facilities, office supplies, payroll software, small industrial, equipment services or related industries preferred

• Must be knowledgeable of B2B Corporate and sales functions and strategies used to target new business opportunities.

• Must have proven success consistently achieving and exceeding sales performance objectives.

• Self-Starter who holds a competitive passion, creativity, and confidence at all levels.

• Holds themselves accountable for consistently exceeding results

• Self-motivated and can hit the ground running in prospecting, managing, and qualifying prospects

• Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at once

• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills

• Ability to maintain excellent colleague and partner relationships

Responsibilities: Limited overview of responsibilities

• Hire, train, strategize, and motivate current and new B2B field based, Executive Business Development reps in order to exponentially grow revenues

• Responsible for managing all strategic and operational marketing and sales activities

• Lead the overall sales and marketing functions of the business

• Plan, coordinate and implement business plans to penetrate new markets to attain company sales goals and profitability

• Assist sales team in managing and growing customer base to achieve monthly sales goals

• Establish sales objectives through forecasting and analyzing sales trends

• Co-travel with Outside Sales/Executive Sales Reps within geographic areas mention above
