Business Operations Analytics Manager - Tempe, AZ

Background:

The Operations Analytics Manager is tasked with using data to help create insights and to improve customer experience team processes, policies and tools implementation. Ultimately, the work we do in business operations is designed to enable our internal teams to provide an excellent customer experience. To be successful in this role, the person must be a data-driven self-starter who understands customer experience and is passionate about driving positive change.

Responsibilities:

§ Own day to day dashboard and reporting needs for customer experience and executive team stakeholders

§ Execute the building and basic definition of dashboards

§ Mine and summarize necessary data to inform key business decisions

§ Assist in the development and design of analyses and data solutions

§ Clarify and refine complex business questions, completely owning execution of analytic approaches, including process, systems, policy, training aspects

§ Point of contact for business stakeholders to identify, define, and inform on key operational and strategic opportunities, all based on data mining and insights

§ Manage KPI dashboarding needs, honing in on clarifying the business need and coming up with potential ways to fulfill these needs with data

§ Provide feedback to analytics engineering team to improve data infrastructure to make analysis more efficient

§ Work cross-functionally with analytics, product, marketing, sales operations, BizTech and engineering to gather information and produce operations solutions

§ Constructs forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge

§ Develop strong working knowledge of existing processes of customer-facing teams with a view to drive efficiency and “do more with less”

Required skills and experience:

§ 5+ years’ experience in customer-facing roles

§ Strong analytical skills, communication skills and presentation skills

§ Experience in SQL required; intermediate skills preferred

§ Experience in Mode, R, Python a plus

§ Strong bias towards action

§ Demonstrated ability to manage high level data and synthesize findings

§ Excellent communication and presentation skills

§ Bachelor’s degree required
