A well established international FinTech company is looking for a talented and dedicated business development candidate to join the NYC office. This role functions like an Internal sales person who will be responsible for ensuring the the sales pipe is always filled with prospects and meetings. The main task is to reach out to prospective clients and book demonstrations of products.

The main focus will be new prospects, but the role may at times also include other duties such as demonstrating products to prospects and joining Account Managers for client meetings. Support responsibility will be held on average one day per week. This role is designed to transition to either outside sales, account management or product specialist within 18 months or so.

This role will be a crucial part of the Americas operations. For the right candidate we can offer great career opportunities within the fastest growing vendor of data and analytics for economic and financial research.

Responsibilities & Targets

1.Drive to introduce and agree on scheduled demonstrations for two-three meetings per day

2.Ensure prospects are kept up to date and warm with relevant information on our products

3.Focus on building long-term relationships, meaning the demos we dont get today are in the pipe for next month/quarter

4.Build a solid understanding of the core product offerings to ensure you can have a targeted discussion around each prospects needs

5.Attend and show improvements during internal training sessions

6.Provide feedback and help constantly improving products and sales approaches

7.Use various way to prospect and qualify leads
