Scheduler / Central Supply – Pleasant Hill, CA

We have a new employment opportunity for a Staff Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator / Central Supply Clerk in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC / SNF) in Pleasant Hill, CA. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / NAC) required. Prior Hospital or Nursing Home / SNF experience is required. Additional requirements include current CPR and fingerprint clearance card.

Staff Scheduler / Central Supply responsibilities:

• Schedule appropriate staffing to meet the needs of the residents based on budget and census

• Complete the monthly nursing schedule and coordinate time-off requests to ensure coverage

• Follow up with staff regarding authorized and unauthorized overtime

• Maintain Nursing Department staff directory including current employee contact information

• Completing the monthly nursing schedule and coordinating time-off requests to ensure coverage

• Filling department requisitions for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Placing orders and ensuring that an adequate inventory of supplies is readily available
