Description:

Staff Recruiting Manager – for global law firm in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for recruitment for all non-attorney positions for U.S. offices. This position has one direct report.

Some of the responsibilities for this position:

• Full-cycle recruiting for non-attorney positions in the U.S. office by contacting employment agencies, placing advertisements, networking in the legal community, handling online recruitment and processing employee referrals.

• Ensuring all agencies have agreement and all temporary agencies have executed MSAs.

• Working closely with all Firm Chiefs, Directors, Managers and Supervisors during the recruitment process.

• Screening, interviewing, testing and completing reference checks; recommending candidates for hire and appropriate compensation.

• Conducting new hire background checks via a third party vendor.

• Tracking recruitment data with the assistance from Recruiting Coordinator.

• Forecasting staff recruiting budget with assistance from the Director.

• Prepare new employee offer letters, pre-orientation forms and other administrative paperwork.

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred, 5+ years of recruiting experience in a law firm, or corporate environment.

• Prior experience working with Affirmation Action plans.

• Fluency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems. viDesktop experience is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional judgment, discretion and professionalism.

• Flexibility for occasional travel and overtime when necessary.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
