The oil and natural gas industry is experiencing dynamic growth as low gas prices and a drive towards environmentally responsible energy strategies drive a push towards greater natural gas use for traditional and non-traditional purposes.

As a senior member of Oil & Gas Industry executive team, the successful candidate will help grow and expand our strong management consulting business by helping to continue the company’s expansion at industry leading growth rates. This role will assist in, develop, and implement a “go-to” market strategy and grow a strong pipeline of business in the first year.

Ultimately, the candidate will be expected to grow and maintain an incremental segment of the Oil & Gas Industry team’s business budget amounting to $5-10M per year. Experience in providing a broad range of consulting services to companies along the oil and gas value chain and gas utilities as well as strong existing executive-level relationships are critical for this role.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Contributing to overall growth strategy, business model advancement, innovative offerings and consulting practice expansion and creation

• Forge new client relationships and actively monitor and contribute to total client delivery and satisfaction

• Create a steady flow of new and add-on client pursuits and revenue with the ability to bring the best of service lines and offerings to clients

• Develop clear and focused client account delivery strategies and account plans aimed at oil and gas clients including gas utilities.

• Shape and sustain trusted executive client relationships at “C” levels

• Participate in continually striving to improve customer service, market offering quality and plan performance

• Shape, sponsor and personally invest in the development of company consultants’ and managers’ competencies relative to sales of offerings to clients



Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary)

1. Graduate Degree in Business or Engineering

2. 7 years of business development/sales experience in oil & gas consulting/advisory services

3. 5 years of experience with advisory, process and technology consulting solutions supporting companies along the oil and gas value chain

4. Successfully structured and managed multiple complex pursuits simultaneously

5. 5-10 years of experience within a management consulting firm or environment

6. Track record of selling a wide range of service offerings

7. Track record of generating new + add-on sales totaling at least $5 million in annual revenue
