Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, insurance or related field required.

• 5-7 years of combined insurance industry, enterprise risk management, internal audit and control experience.

• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• MBA, CPCU and/or other advanced insurance designation strongly preferred.

• Participation in industry organizations and ongoing personal development strongly preferred

Job Description:

We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Management professional to join our team and work at our client in a long-term, right to hire position. Our client is a leading provider of commercial and personal lines insurance products. You will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the long-term growth of our client and lead and contribute to the development and integration of enterprise risk management throughout the enterprise. Responsibilities include:

• The continual maturation of ERM framework

• Taking a leadership role in ensuring high quality execution of enterprise-wide risk based initiatives.

• Together with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Director of ERM, deliver the value of risk management as an integral component of business operations and an important contributor to optimizing enterprise value.

• Work with senior leadership and line management, develop risk tolerances/limits

• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of the Company’s risk mitigation efforts and provide meaningful feedback to the organization.

• Build and lead the continual analysis of an enterprise-wide risk assessment.

• Integrate the risk assessment within each business area to aid in better risk awareness and more informed decision making.

• Prepare risk registers/dashboards and risk reports to ensure effective reporting for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, Enterprise Risk Committees and its sub-committees.

• Lead executive risk sub-committees and provide decision support.

• Serve as a key contact for Functional Risk Owners.

• Provide training to Functional Risk Owners and other members of management as needed on Grange’s ERM framework and approach.

• Lead and participate in the quarterly risk and control surveys.

• Provide assurance that risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations and strategic imperatives of the organization.

• Provide oversight, evaluation and administration of Model Audit Rule (MAR) activity and results.

• Lead the development of annual ORSA report.

• Assist with the management of relationships with regulators, rating agencies, and brokers as needed

• Administer the corporate reinsurance, professional liability, and P&C program.

• Drive enterprise-wide risk management projects and efforts. Presents risk management topics and status on projects to senior leadership.

• Ensure effective alignment between ERM processes and Internal Audit responsibilities.

• Collaborate with Internal Audit and other control owners

• Lead the continued development and maintenance of SharePoint technology in support of the ERM function.

• Other duties as assigned.
