Are you a licensed personal lines insurance account manager looking for more a more robust salary, opportunity for commissions and paid benefits? Are you tired of commuting to Seattle or Bellevue?

My client is a large independent insurance brokerage in the Bothell area. They are looking to add another licensed personal lines account manager to their Private Client/High Net Worth Team. The client is looking for experience with independent markets such as Chubb/Ace, AIG, Pure or standard markets such as Safeco, Travelers etc.

You will assist the Senior Account Managers on their books of established accounts. The agency uses EPIC and is paperless. This is a fast-paced inside role with lots of correspondence over the phone and email. Computer skills and accuracy are needed as well as an ability to work with changing priorities and tasks. There will be some face to face client meetings as well and they could be in office or on site depending on the insured's needs. The goal is to give you the advanced coverage skills so that you can have your own book of Private Client accounts in the future.

The client offers salary, commissions on new sales, benefits, free parking and PTO plan. Continuing education is also paid for. Hours are Mon to Fri.

Your day will consist of:

Service existing Personal Insurance customers, through building relationships, explaining detailed coverage and policy information and processing changes as needed

Quote new and replacement business;

Solicit referrals

Maintain client base by contacting clients, understanding their needs, providing each with a full account review at renewal time and suggesting coverage changes when applicable;

Provide quality service to clients and resolve concerns and conflicts;

Assist in claim conflicts between insured and company; claim counseling;

Provide risk management advice;

Maintain a broad knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines;

Maintain relationships with insurance providers;

Background required:

2-5 years Personal Insurance account management experience required; strong preference for independent market knowledge especially with High Net worth carriers such as Chubb/Ace, AIG, and Pure or other independent carriers strongly preferred

WA P & C license

2-year or 4-year degree preferred

Strong computer skills including, Word and Excel, Agency Management System desired

Ability to write grammatically correct business correspondence such as letters, emails, memoranda

Strong attention to detail

Ability to exercise judgment in order to problem solve when the answer is not readily apparent

Strong analytical skills, and ability to learn quickly; and ability to set priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
