Specific Responsibilities:

The Systems and Process (S&P) group is a dedicated, centralized team that provides strategic consultation, technical consultation, and internal customer service for Development Operations team. The team promotes excellence in standards, processes, analytics, and business intelligence for the benefit of and patients everywhere. The team supports highly visible projects in support of Development Operations team.

This position will support process analysis and documentation specialist within the S&P team. Well-suited candidates will combine strong project management skills with proven experience in process analysis, documentation management, and navigating ambiguity. In this role, the candidate will demonstrate expertise level analytical skills, drive process improvements, and collaborate with teams throughout.

We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible, and results-oriented individual with strong time management skills to join our team. This person will need to be able to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment, yet, bring organization and control to the projects they manage.

This candidate will be "accountable” and lead one or several projects from inception through completion, while adhering to project scope, schedule, and quality. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, must be savvy working with business partners across Development Operations in a collaborative way. and have business process engineering experience .

Scope of Work:

The candidate ensures proper project planning, scope management, coordination of team assignment and mobilization, coordination of work efforts, monitoring of project deliverables, quality reviews and issue identification, escalation and resolution, transition to release / go live and post-implementation reviews including the planning and coordination of organization change management, training and adoption our initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Track and manage multiple projects and their activities including statuses, timelines, budgets, action items, and other relevant documents with greater autonomy

• Create and manage procedural documentation, process maps, workflow analyses, and content for training materials

• Facilitate meetings and drive results by preparing meeting agendas/minutes, meeting slide decks, and action items

• Manage and develop relationships with diverse stakeholders to support cross-functional collaboration

• Identify risks to project progress and escalate to appropriate managers or teams

• Drive creation of content through research and discussions with process owners, cross-functional teams, and subject matter experts

• Implement routine process changes to improve organizational performance and operations

• Benchmark processes against performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

• Work independently and with interdisciplinary teams to achieve results

• Begins to support development of junior staff and operates with greater autonomy

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Essential:

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of work experience in project management, process analysis or similar environment

• Strong project management and process analysis skills

• Ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels and various teams

• Ability to integrate information from various sources into a written document

• Ability to manage multiple projects and flexibly adapt to changing priorities

Desirable:

• 6+ years of work experience in project management or process analysis

• Familiarity with highly regulated industry environments or drug development

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies

• Experience working with virtual or remote teams

• Willingness to travel
