JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of specialty chemicals used in a wide variety of consumer and industrial applications. We are conducting a search for a Regulatory Manager for their expending business headquartered in the New Brunswick, NJ area. Reporting to the Vice President of R&D this individual will be responsible for managing the PSRA group plus developing and implementing their regulatory compliance strategy for their worldwide operations.

This will include:

Implement best practices and guidance for products in order to minimize business risk

Develop and implement compliance controls in excess of one year

Provide a global single resource for all regulatory notifications and registrations

Monitor new regulatory developments in the regions and develop plans to address them

Analyze and facilitate business growth opportunities to remove barriers to market and support product opportunities

Provide monthly and quarterly regulatory affairs reporting to management on progress goals and strategies

Defend company products and technologies from regulatory and other influences

Manage PSRA team and ensure they are up to date with relevant legislation through training

Oversee data management and regulatory compliance including toxicological and ecotoxiclogical data for various product lines

Work with trade associations in order to influence regulatory authorities in the development and implementation of new legislation

Support customer regulatory actions relation to Company products and defend technologies and products from regulatory and other external influences

Advise senior management on business opportunities and risks in regard to regulatory compliance matters

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science degree in Toxicology, Environmental or other applicable science

10 years minimum regulatory affairs compliance experience in the chemical industry
