Description:

We are working on a confidential search for a Customer Quality Manager. This position is with a Tier I automotive supplier and it will be based in the El Paso / Juarez area.

The Customer Quality Manager is responsible for leading and driving all Quality initiatives with the customer.

Key responsibilities include:

- Monitor and distribute customer scorecard information

- Provide support to the organization regarding customer portal

- Ensure organization is aware of and complies with customer specific requirements

- Lead interaction with customer regarding quality performance

- Support critical quality issues with customer

- Serve as an expert on customer specific warranty programs

- Develop and maintain relationship with customer quality leaders

- Participate in new project reviews to evaluate and escalate quality risks with goal of flawless launches

- Support resident organization with customer specific training on disputes / negotiation

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

* Bachelors degree preferred

* 5+ years experience in Quality Leadership and/or Sr. Quality Engineering roles in the automotive industry

* Experience in a plant manufacturing environment

* Customer experience with European OEMs is a plus

* Experience with TS 16949

* Strong communication skills

* Self-motivated and self-directed
