Key responsibilities:

Identify required quality codes, shipping instructions, traceability, International Trade and Arms Regulations (ITAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), NADCAP and others as identified by customer documentation.

Access the customer portal to assure required specifications are up to date and acquire new revisions as necessary.

Document receipt and store updated specifications.

Verify customer specification flow-down requirements to suppliers.

Interface with the quality database for data entry and reporting.

Prepare paperwork for customer/3rd Party source inspections.

Conduct AS9100 internal audits.

Initiate documentation packages for customer FAIs (Basic and Aerospace AS9102).

Plan FAI including where & how execution is to occur.

Review and approve supplier FAI submissions.


Qualifications and Skills:

High School diploma/GED required.

2 year degree or training in quality, engineering, or technical field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Knowledge of quality standards, ideally ISO 9000 & AS9100.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings including tolerances and GD&T requirements.

Ability to work in high pressure situations and conform to tight deadlines.

Must be exceptionally organized & detail oriented.

Must have basic computer skills including proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Word, ERP & QMS software.

Ability to conduct root cause and corrective actions using problem solving techniques.

Professional written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor to differing audiences.

Is accountable to achieve needed results.

Effective in a “one team” work environment.
