Nomadic is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead of our first-ever location by building and inspiring a strong, diverse team. The ideal candidate has hospitality management, location based entertainment experience, retail and similar background and is excited to join a team that is on the cutting edge of technology.

As a Nomadic brand champion, you promote the values and ambitions of the brand within the marketplace. The ideal candidate must have store pre-opening experience, setting up store processes and procedures from the ground up. As a General Manager, you must have experience managing large groups of people and are comfortable working with all types. The candidate should exemplify excellent customer service and enjoy training teams to provide the same by setting the example that no task is beneath you. The General Manager must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while working side-by-side with your team and supporting them to ensure the success of the operation.


-Oversee daily operations of the store including management of a highly effective staff and product performance

-Ensure guest service goals are met through exceptional customer service

-Lead overall recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training efforts of all staff

-Continuously coach and train all staff including Assistant General Manager and all hourly employees to provide exceptional customer service

-Lead local marketing and promotional efforts

-Manage payroll and ensure compliance with all local and federal labor laws

-Manage merchandise inventory and conduct monthly inventory and ordering

-Manage complex scheduling for all employees

-Ensure adherence to budgets while maximizing profitability

-Maintain technical/hardware inventory and manage ordering process

-Conduct monthly all staff training and new experience training

-Daily reporting to HQ and escalation of any issues immediately

-Willing to travel as needed (possible 10%)


-4-year degree and 5-7 years of relevant work experience

-Proven management experience in hospitality, location based entertainment, retail or similar customer-facing background

-Identification, development and management of a high performing team

-Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

-Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the Nomadic brand

-Pride of ownership with store appearance, cleanliness and organization

-Highly motivated, self-driven and solution oriented

-Attention to detail, and the drive to create the perfect experience

-Works well under pressure and is able to handle difficult situations with ease and composure

-Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business

-Love of video games or VR is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:

-The ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time

-On occasion, must be able to safely lift minimum of 50 lbs. without restrictions

-Able to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean

-Able to perform repetitive motions (i.e. hanging, folding, ringing up customers, etc.)
