In your role as an Account Manager your goal will be to help us meet customer acquisition, revenue and retention targets. You will be responsible for identifying and approaching prospects with your pipe of existing customers as well as within organizations that are customers in other regions. This will be achieved through prospecting and proactively reaching out by phone/email and other forms of communication. Another key goal for the position is to build strong relationships with key decision makers with prospect/customer organizations.

You will be responsible for maximizing your pipes potential, ensuring strategy is in place in all sides of the sales process and ensuing information flows to and from your team to relevant departments of the company.

Macrobond applies a consultative sales approach, meaning all team members must be highly adaptable and proficient in Macrobond products to ensure we always pitch the most relevant product and customer solution. Ensuring proficiency both on the product and sales strategy is within the realm of key responsibilities for yourself together with your manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Achieving growth and hitting targets by managing your pipe and books of business

- Designing and implementing strategic account plans and ensure Macrobond has a strong presence in your market as well as aligning it with other markets

- Ensure we realize our potential within client organizations

- Find upsale opportunities by mapping out client teams and structures; understand organizational charts

- Keeping up with your existing clients, together with the Customer Success Team

- Ensure there is a good collaborative atmosphere in the office

- Ensure cross-border accounts are handled well together with other sales teams and the Customer Success Team

- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

- Help identify market trends and ensure there is knowledge about them across the company

- Handle meetings and negotiations together with your sales manager

- Co-operate and align deals and expectation with other sales managers and the global head of sales on commercials when needed

You will report to the sales manager in your region but Macrobond has a flat organization and encourages open discussions across locations, departments, and teams.
