In your role as an Account Manger on the new business side, your goal will be to help us meet customer acquisition, revenue, and retention targets. You will be responsible for identifying and approaching prospects within your given regions. This will be achieved through prospecting and proactively reaching out by phone/email and other forms of communication. Another key goal for the position is to build strong relationships with key decision makers within the prospected organization and managing trials and negotiating processes.

You will be responsible for maximizing your pipes potential, ensuring strategy is in place in all sides of the sales process and ensuring information flows to and from your team to relevant departments of the company.

Macrobond applies a consultative sales approach, meaning all team members must be highly adaptable and proficient in Macrobond products to ensure we always pitch the most relevant product and customer solution. Ensuring proficiency both on the product and sales strategy is within the realm of key responsibilities for yourself together with your manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Achieving growth and hitting targets by managing your pipe

- Designing and implementing strategic account plans and ensure Macrobond has a strong presence in your market

- Ensure we approach prospects both in depth and breadth. Meaning we should be a well-known name in your market, but also that we should understand prospect organization and in which team(s) and positions Macrobond products would fit in

- Make certain that trial participants have a well-rounded knowledge about Macrobond and that it is adapted to his/her needs.

- Ensure there is a good collaborative atmosphere in the office

- Ensure cross-border accounts are handled well together with other sales teams

- Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

- Help identify market trends and ensure there is knowledge about them across the company

- Handle meetings and negotiations together with your sales manager

- Co-operate and align deals and expectations with other sales managers, other offices when needed and the global head of sales on commercials when needed

You will report to the sales manager in your region but Macrobond has a flat organization and encourages open discussion across locations, departments and teams.
