Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.

•Knowledge of MS Windows 2012 and 2016 server and Windows 10 desktop operating systems.

•Knowledge of local and wide area networks to include TCP/IP, configuring workstations for LAN/WAN access.

•Experience with remote desktop and server support.

•Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting PC hardware and peripherals including label printers, receipt printers, bar code scanners, cash drawers, and scales.

•Experience testing PC hardware and software.

•Experience working with Windows registry.

•Experience working with and administering Active Directory.

•Experience with patch management at the enterprise level.

•Ability to develop and maintain IT documentation.

•Ability to change physical locations based upon need (walking between buildings outside)

•Ability to operate machinery such as pallet jack and hand truck

•Ability to move objects from one location to another including routinely lifting and moving computer equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

•Experience with ServiceNow.

•Experience scripting with PowerShell.

•Experience with Point of Sales hardware and peripherals

•Experience with SCCM

•Experience with WSUS

•Experience with packaging applications and application updates for remote deployment to a large enterprise

•Experience creating and deploying images

•Desired certifications include A+ / Network+ / ITIL Foundation / Microsoft certification

•Experience working in a large enterprise environment

•Local to the Raleigh, NC area. This position does not provide relocation experience
