There is currently a vacancy for a Social Media Marketing Coordinator for our office in Bangkok.

We are on the hunt for a talented marketing all-rounder with a passion for travel, marketing and social media! The role will consist of supporting the SpiceRoads Marketing Manager with a focus on media and events management as well as creating engaging content for social media and supporting marketing initiatives across all SpiceRoads tours and products.

The job will include:


• You will work closely with the Marketing Manager across all areas of marketing- this includes and is not limited to: Digital, Social, Copy writing, Design, PR, Events and Marcomms Strategy.

• Support the marketing team on the roll out of the SpiceRoads marketing plan and responsibilities for ensuing projects, events, promotions or activities for each objective as planned

• Working with the marketing manager to develop and implement a social media content plan that supports brand, product and marketing strategies. Source, edit, generate and optimise content for website, Newsletters and social platforms - copy, images and video.

• Monitoring website and social media to aid with sales activity and trade marketing support.

• Acquire new, and maintain current, media relationships via database management, reach-out and requests

• Managing the regular collation and upload of assets for digital, clients and suppliers

• Database, asset and stakeholder management.

• Event management from large scale conferences to local office workshops

• Producing and proofing copy across a range of communication platforms: Email campaigns, blogs, website, social media, printed brochures and presentations.

• Daily monitoring of social media channels.

• Ad-hoc design support including PowerPoint presentations, promotional flyers and email design.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/PR/Tourism/Media /Journalism /Advertising / Communications or similar.

• Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken)

• Passion in Travel and cycling

• 2 years minimum experience or similar working in marketing in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in building social media campaigns to support wider brand and program marketing strategies.

• Experience in developing, sourcing and editing marketing content for social media platforms, blogs, email campaigns, web, and/or brochure collateral.

• Ability to develop content calendars and implement a content plan across social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

• Good understanding in the travel industry and digital

• Flair for design and creating visually strong content

• Knowledge of InDesign/Photoshop/ Final Cut Pro advantageous .

• Good research, planning and logistical skills

• Knowledge of Asia and passion for cycling, travel and adventure
